Golden Drangon has really delicious food. The best times to go are around lunch and dinner, so everything is fresh. The food is great. It's not overly seasoned, or so spicy you can't enjoy it. There is not a huge variety on the buffet, but what is there is good, and you can always order from the menu too. The menu is quite impressive. It's a nice, quiet restaurant, ran by a very sweet couple.

Good quite place to enjoy lunch. Not a wide variety on the buffet but everything I tried tasted real good. I was quite fond of there fresh crispy noodles for there egg drop soup. Then again I am a huge egg drop soul fan. Service was excellent, my glass never got empty, the continuously asked if I was ok, and promptly removed the dishes from my table. Bonus, they have an ice cream machine for kids, well adults too.

We ate at The Golden Dragon while in Joplin today and loved it. Nice quiet atmosphere, our waitress was very kind, and the food was great. Lots to choose from and the vegetables were steamed and not oily like most Chinese buffets. We will go here again when we’re in town.

I religiously frequented always left with a full belly & a full heart. The staff always remembered me & my favorite order...all you can eat buffet. The buffet was well stocked with fresh selections that were cooked perfectly. Pricing was amazingly affordable. Our check always had a handwritten inspirational message (mostly Bible references ). Each message was something I needed that particular day. The restaurant was always clean & the staff full of laughter while working hard to provide excellent customer satisfaction. I truly miss my weekly visits now that I live 1,300 miles away.

The food is great, although I do wish they would offer more variety on the buffet. The service has always been above and beyond! The owners are very friendly and welcoming and seem to really love kids. The restaurant is always clean when we come. The food is fresh and hot! They are a very family friendly place. We love this restaurant!
